আন্তর্জাতিক জঙ্গি সংগঠন ইসলামিক স্টেটের (আইএস) সদস্য হয়ে সিরিয়ায় যুদ্ধ করছেন বাংলাদেশি দুই যুবক। আরও ১৫-২০ জন যুবক যুদ্ধে যাওয়ার জন্য প্রস্তুত হয়ে আছেন। এঁদের বেশির ভাগই প্রকৌশলী। উচ্চ শিক্ষিত ও মেধাবী এসব তরুণ-যুবক তলে তলে সংগঠিত হচ্ছেন।

জিজ্ঞাসাবাদের ব্যাপারে জানতে চাইলে গোয়েন্দা পুলিশের উত্তর বিভাগের অতিরিক্ত উপকমিশনার মো. শাহজাহান প্রথম আলোকে বলেন, ছোট আকারের দল করে কিছু যুবক আইএস-এর পক্ষে ইরাকে যাওয়ার চেষ্টা করছে। আমিনুল ইসলাম এ রকম একটি দলের প্রধান বলে মনে করা হচ্ছে। দেশের ভেতরে এ রকম আরও অনেক দল আছে বলে তিনি মনে করেন।
